Which photographs work best
A clear, well-lit photo of the head and shoulders gives the strongest portrait, and side lighting paints especially well. Very dark images, heavy filters and extreme close-ups are harder to translate, and we will tell you honestly before you order if a photo will not work.

Every painting is made to order: allow 2–4 weeks for production, plus 7–15 days for delivery within the United States. Orders over $99 ship free.
Care
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the glass or use anything abrasive. Keep the piece out of direct sunlight so the colours stay true.
Common questions
Wood or copper frame?
Wood reads warmer and more casual; copper reads cooler and more formal, and suits a room with metal accents. Same painting, same sizes. You can see the wood frame version here.
